A joint publication by the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC), the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), this contains good practice guidelines, with case studies and crisis management and communication strategies. 

Global framework for reopening exhibitions and B2B trade events post the emergence from COVID-19

The purpose of this document is to define a structured framework for reopening exhibitions and B2B trade events after the emergence of COVID-19.

• The global exhibition industry pledges to collaborate to ensure the health and safety of all

participants to exhibitions and trade shows.

• We expect the appropriate authorities to allow exhibitions to re-open based on the assured

implementation of agreed health and safety standards.

• The re-opening of exhibitions will drive economic revitalisation.

Key planning recommendations for mass gatherings in the context of COVID-19

This document is an update of the interim guidance document entitled “Key planning recommendations for mass gatherings in the context of COVID-19”, published by WHO on 19 March 2020. This version has been revised to reflect the evolution of the knowledge on the pandemic over the past weeks, and to ensure alignment with the most recent guidance on COVID-19 issued by WHO.

 G3 Partners AIPC, ICCA and UFI release “Good Practice Guide: Convention and Exhibition Centres as Temporary Vaccination Centres.” 

This good practice guidance aims to help convention and exhibition centres and event and congress organisers called upon by health authorities to convert part or all of their venue into a temporary vaccination centre. 

G3 Partners – AIPC, ICCA and UFI – release third updated and expanded edition of the Good Practice Guide: Addressing COVID-19 Requirements for Re-opening Business Events

This guide follows a series of COVID-19-related publications released by the three associations, and is now being shared with the global exhibition community to support their work in creating conditions and safeguards that will enable the smooth re-opening of activities, whilst observing the needs and expectations of governments and health authorities.
